AUSTRALIAN ANKLE BOOTS

An unused set of size 10 ankle boots, 7 eyelets with original leather laces. The stitch pattern on the boots is identical to Australian WWI boots, the only addition being a leather tab at the rear of the ankle. Complete with toe and heel cleats and nails. On one of the boots, all that is visible of the maker’s mark is ‘TRALIAN BOOT ’, with slight images of the word ‘SERVICE’ on the other boot, clearly marked ‘SERVICE’ and ‘BOOT ’, with only the last two digits of the full name ‘AUSTRALIAN’ remaining. Stamped size ‘10’ marked on the inside, also ‘size 10’ with the code ‘A103’.
