US VIETNAM WAR M.1 HELMET

A rare helmet from the Vietnam War, with its original cover and inner liner. The liner is dated ‘1967, the cover is dated ‘1968’, it has always been attached to the helmet, it is held smooth by a grey rubber band. The cover has stitched openings for foliage insertion, with all its inner lining, including the leather sweatband and its webbing chinstrap.
