US PRE WWI CAVALRY HAT

A classic Stetson-style hat worn by the U.S. Cavalry in the Spanish-American War, which lasted from April to August 1898, very similar to the cap worn by the U.S.Cavalry in the Indian Wars. Fawn felt two air vents, one air vent missing, with a Cavalry badge of the crossed sabres, number ‘1’ over the letter ‘B ’, with its front ornamentation.
