US Felt Campaign Hat

A rare example of the Model 1895 U.S. campaign hat, worn during the Spanish-American War and the late Indian Wars. This hat is in exceptionally good condition, showing only minor moth tracking to the main body with no distinct holes. It features a classic double-stitched edge, a black ribbon around the base of the crown, and a black-and-gold twisted cord officer’s lace. Punch-hole ventilation is present on either side of the crown. The original leather sweatband remains, with one section missing.
