U.S. WWII U.S. NAVY CAPTAINS VISOR CAP

A very nice WWII period U.S.Naval Captains and above visor cap. The summer white top is slightly stained through storage and age. Standard mohair centre band, gold chinstrap, American eagle side buttons, gold bullion weave to the peak. The American badges of WWII are absolutely superb. This multi-constructed eagle over the American shield with crossed anchors is of the highest quality. A label with ‘size 7’ is applied to the mid tan leather sweatband, which has seen some wear and use with its strengthened interior.
