U.S. Krag M1898/1900 Bowie Pattern Enlisted Man’s Display Piece

The central section retains a bright, clean finish with clear ‘US 1900’ marking, showing only minimal signs of age. The wooden grip panels remain well-fitted with a rich grain, one side displaying a small, shallow surface crease. All fittings are complete and undisturbed, with the attachment mechanism remaining smooth and functional.

The upper casing component is in excellent condition. The lower section of the scabbard shows light finish loss near the base, with areas of lightly cleaned oxidation now stable. The belt attachment remains securely affixed and operates as intended. The casing surface presents well, with natural aging visible in the lower portion.

A well-preserved and increasingly scarce display piece associated with early U.S. overseas military evaluation.
