SERBIAN WWI ADRIAN HELMET

One of the rarest of the series of Adrian helmets of WWI, this example still retains its original grey painted finish with some rust bleed to the dome and to the front peak, also paint rubbed to the top of the comb. The Serbian Coat of Arms badge is securely fitted, with its original chinstrap, liner and original drawstring. The helmet is of huge proportions. A museum number ‘LAN 1317’ was hand-applied to the interior bowl in white museum-style script.
