RUSSIAN WWI ADRIAN HELMET, SHELL ONLY

The shell only of the rare Russian Adrian helmet of WWI. Good Russian paint finish remaining with some thin areas. The only part of the liner present is the wool liner band, the chinstrap is complete but only attached to one side. Underneath the Russian eagle badge is the name ‘Coursey France’ with a date ‘March 1919’ faintly revealed. Later in WWI Russia sent an expeditionary force of 4,000 men to the Western Front who fought at Coursey in France. This is a local battlefield pick-up.
