Prussian Dress Blue Enlisted Ranks Visor Cap

An excellent example of a pre-WWI enlisted ranks dress cap in very good condition. The cap features a rich blue body complemented by a red centre band, with no moth damage to the blue fabric and only minor moth wear to the red waffenfarbe around the crown. It is complete with the correct enlisted ranks Prussian and national state cockades.

The interior is well-preserved and marked by a Hannover retailer, fitted with a high-quality imitation leather light cream sweatband. This visor cap is of superior quality for an enlisted rank and was likely worn by a one-year volunteer. The size corresponds to either 55 or 56, typical for the period.
