A superb condition service-worn Arisaka rifle, deactivated, that has all its accessories. The wood stock has some bruising but still retains very good colour, the rifle has its bayonet attachment, to which an Arisaka bayonet without scabbard is fitted. Ramrod complete, bipod complete, its flip-up sights complete with the anti-aircraft sights, which are extremely rare, its bolt dust cover complete, its ultra-rare leather strap with kanji lettering to the inside of the strap and with an un-erased chrysanthemum to the receiver. All of the metalwork retains very nice original bluing. The weapon cocks and dry fires and is complete with its 1999 deactivation certificate. The gun number is 42386, barrel length 26 inches, the rifle is the type 99, produced at the Nagoya Arsenal between October 44 and December 44. At the present time, this can only be sold outside the EU. If an EU purchaser wishes to obtain this weapon, it would have to be re-certified with an EU certificate. The weapon can also not be sold within the United Kingdom. A better example of this rifle, complete with all of its accessories, would be extremely hard to find.
