Japanese WWI Cherry Blossom Helmet

A highly desirable and extremely rare Japanese Cherry Blossom combat helmet, one of the most difficult WWI helmets to obtain. This army-issue example features the star front and the distinctive crown air vent, with three rivets securing the inner liner and two additional lower rivets. The helmet retains virtually all of its original Japanese paint finish. The interior is complete with its leather liner band, three-pad liner with fully intact padding, and original long webbing chin cord. A superb example of an iconic early Japanese combat helmet.
