A magnificent condition model 1889 pattern infantry officers' sword, standard fretted bowl hilt, with all of the rayskin and grip wire intact, the long straight double fullered blade having double-sided blue and gilt panels, the regimental inscription reading for the third Wurttemberg infantry regiment, with horse and floriate patterns. The opposite side has a double line gold on blue inscription which reads,” do not draw me without reason, do not force me without honour”. The sword fitted into its excellent condition, untouched paintwork scabbard.
