German WWII Wood Chip Camouflage Combat Helmet

A solid EF 64 M40 combat helmet featuring a remarkably well-preserved original woodchip camouflage finish across the exterior shell, with the exception of areas around the liner retaining rivet heads where some finish is missing. Inside, the eight-tongued leather liner remains fully intact—delicate in places with the tip of one tongue missing—but the main body of the liner is strong and sound. The original chinstrap is present, though extremely fragile due to age.
