GERMAN WWII WINTER OVER BOOTS

The classic winter over-boot worn on the Eastern Front by German soldiers, either on Guard duty or sometimes in action. Unused, slightly mismatched, as these were thrown in piles on the floor with left and right, and the soldiers just chose one from each pile and very often these are slightly mismatched but worn as a pair. Complete with their original manufacturer's label on the upper part of the boot, with a clear date on one of the labels as ‘1942 ’; other details are difficult to read. No moth damage to the felt; all the leather fittings are perfect.
