German WWII Waffen-SS Unterscharführer Mountain Troops Shoulder Boards

An excellent unused late-war pair of shoulder boards for a Waffen-SS Unterscharführer in mountain troops. Constructed with black centres, bright green silk piping, and rank tress. The reverse shows the slip-on tab and main board sewn together with a single strip of herringbone light cream rayon. Both boards are unlined to the reverse, a typical late-war expedient to conserve wool. A fine and scarce matching pair.
