An outstanding piece of Third Reich artwork. Non-contemporary frame. The poster measurement is 58cm x 84cm. The subjects are both an SD and Police officials, side view on, wearing their respective police green and SD field grey uniforms, amazing profiles of two separate types of helmets, the police officer wearing an M.34 lightweight, the SD man wearing an M.16 helmet with SS runes, both wearing cross straps and their respective belt buckles. To the sleeve of the SD man, the lozenge reads ‘SD’. In the top right-hand corner ‘WHW 1941’. This was the Winter Help Work campaign of the winter of 1941, when the German Armed Forces were struggling on the Eastern Front, the lettering below ‘TAG DER DEUTSCHEN POLICE’ (Day of the German Police) with a very attractive police green eagle to the lower right-hand corner. Two items of damage, one to the top left-hand corner and one to the top right-hand corner, both photographed on this website. Although it is nicely framed in a non-contemporary white frame, we would suggest that shipping on this would be expensive in its present form, and removal from the frame, folded into a delivery tube would be the best form of action in terms of cost for the customer.
