GERMAN WWII WAFFEN SS PANZER M43 CAP

A fabulous example of a size 56 Waffen SS Panzer M43 visorless field cap. Constructed in the double button style with both buttons being of the Zeltbahn variety, the cap is constructed in a late war cloth, the white speckles seen through the black cloth are an indication of the late war substitute vegetable dyes and substitute ersatz wool, fitted with the one-piece Bevo woven SS eagle and skull below, good nap to cloth, no moth, to the interior 2 different shades of interior lining have been used, marked to the upper inner crown with the numbers 892/44 size 56 with a very faint image of an RB number above. A super rare late-war cap.
