German WWII Waffen-SS Officer’s Overseas Cap

This is a very good example of a German WWII Waffen-SS enlisted ranks overseas cap, offered in an unusually large and desirable size 59. The exterior wool body shows honest service wear, with some nap loss in select areas, while the majority of the cap remains in strong condition with no visible moth damage.

The cap is fitted with its original matched set of Bevo-woven grey-on-black SS insignia, featuring the national eagle and classic Totenkopf skull. Both are correctly applied and well-preserved, with sharp detail and no detachment.

Inside, the cap is lined in smooth satin grey, showing only light wear, and clearly size-stamped “59.” Overall, this is a clean, untouched example of an SS field cap—representative of the type worn by enlisted men in the Waffen-SS throughout the war. A strong and collectible piece with desirable insignia and large sizing.
