German WWII Waffen-SS “Michael Gaismair” Cuff Title

An exceptionally rare, full-length Waffen-SS cuff title for the “Michael Gaismair” regiment—part of the SS Division Nordland, which fought with distinction on the Eastern Front. This BeVo-woven example remains in mint, unissued condition, with the original BeVo-Wuppertal manufacturer's mark still visible at the folded end.

Woven in silver-grey thread on a black rayon backing, the title features crisp lettering with no fraying to the edges. One minor split is present to the upper area just left of the 'M', as noted, but this does not detract from its outstanding overall presentation. Uncut examples of this cuff title are especially scarce, as most were trimmed down for issue or field use.

A superb collector-grade piece representing one of the lesser-known, yet historically significant, volunteer formations of the Waffen-SS.
