GERMAN WWII WAFFEN SS MARKED BUNKER COMMUNICATION SET

What appears to be a mint unissued set of bunker or armoured vehicle communication set, comprising headphones with connecting straps, a microphone attached to a metal bracket which is attached to the headphones, the communication lead between the headphones and the switching box, which is Siemens marked dated ‘1943’. There is a spring-loaded leather strap attached to both sides of the switching box, which we can only assume is for suspending around the controller’s neck, a long lead from the switching box to a four-pin plug, which may be again for a vehicle or bunker. We have never pretended to be experts in communications, so the description is only minimal. Attached to the whole set is a card label from the original makers Siemens & Halske A.G. with various applied lettering, but with an over-stamp of the ‘12th SS Grenadier Division’ which is, of course, the Hitler Youth Division.
