German WWII Waffen SS First Pattern Arm Eagle

A rare first pattern arm eagle for the Waffen SS, machine embroidered in grey on black wool. Mint, unissued condition with characteristic dipped-down wings. This example is illustrated on page 436 of Insignia of the SS by John Angolia.
