German WWII Waffen SS Enlisted Ranks Overseas Cap

A standard boat-shaped field grey overseas cap for an enlisted Waffen SS soldier. Stamped size ‘56’ with a ‘Tuttlingen’ maker’s mark and dated ‘6.43’ to the interior. The cap retains good nap to the cloth with no moth damage, fitted with its correct Bevo woven national SS eagle and skull. Complete with its original brushed cotton lining, a fine example of this standard issue cap.
