Regimentals has consigned three German WWII military vehicles: a Kubelwagon, a Schwimmwagon and a Kettenkrad. The owner is unfortunately deceased, and we are offering these vehicles on behalf of the widow. The details we have on the vehicles are sketchy, and inspection is suggested. As far as we know, this Schwimmwagon last ran in approximately 1990; it has been stored for over 30 years. The engine is post-war; the body is an original Schwimmwagon body with all of its correct Four Wheel Drive running gear. The post-immersion in-water lubrication system appears to be missing. The chain tensioner for the propeller system inside the engine compartment is also missing. In the research we have been able to carry out in the short time we have had these in our possession, all of these parts are available in either Poland or Czechoslovakia. The body number appears to be 7/004004. The data plate within the engine compartment is visible with the original engine number. Date of manufacture reads ‘1944’. The hood frame is not in the photograph that is available. At the moment, there are two panels missing, the front under tray and the engine compartment venting plate behind the seats; we are hopeful that they are stored in the deceased's garage.  There appears to be a good amount of mechanical work done to the vehicle. The rubber gaiters that protect the running gear from water appear to be new, with new jubilee clips; all four running tyres are brand new. Please have no illusions that you will be purchasing a mint Schwimmwagon; it needs work, as most of them do. For any outside-the-UK prospective buyers, collection is from our storage premises, or we can deliver to a dock or airport, but we will not be involved in delivery to any Central European country.  We have exported vehicles to the United States before and fully understand the system and are able to complete the process. We will not be adding more photographs; we feel that we have offered enough on the website, as we are asking a sensible selling price for this rare German WWII vehicle.
