GERMAN WWII VEHICLE RIFLE BUTT HOLDER

In most German military vehicles, provision was made for the storage of Mauser rifles. The set consisted of a rifle butt holder and a clip that held the top of the rifle in place. This is a totally original example; it appears to have been welded to a vehicle and then removed. Much of the original paint finish is present, with obvious rust bleed.
