German WWI Telegrapher’s Buckle

A good service-worn example of the all-steel, one-piece extra-long Telegrapher’s belt buckle, featuring the extended fittings at each end designed to allow line-laying equipment to be clipped directly to the buckle. Some paint loss is present, though much of the original field grey-green finish remains.

Complete with its original double-pronged belt fixing system.
