GERMAN WWII SUBMARINE COMBAT CLASP

A good example of the scarce Submarine Combat Clasp, this is the type 2 award with the flat back. The majority of the bronze finish remains with slight loss to the tip of the left-hand set of leaves, also on the hull of the submarine, with its correct tapering fluted pin. Fully maker and designer marked on the reverse side, the maker being ‘Schwerin, Berlin’.
