German WWII SS War Service Cross 2nd Class with Swords Citation – Honesch

A rare and highly desirable A5-size citation to Polizei Oberwachtmeister Alfred Honesch, serving on the Staff of the SS Police Leader of Oberitalien West. The document remains in excellent condition, punch-holed for filing and never folded. It bears the facsimile signature of Heinrich Himmler, dated 20th April 1945 – issued from Himmler’s personal train near Prenzlau during the chaotic final days of the war. A scarce and historically significant late-war SS award document.
