GERMAN WWII SS POLICE M.42 DOUBLE DECAL COMBAT HELMET

A very good M.42 double decal police combat helmet. Stamped ‘EF 66’ batch number ‘2736’. The exterior retains virtually all of its very dark grey finish, with some slight loss of the paint to the liner retaining rivet heads. The swastika decal is good and clear with two abrasions. The police decal is also extremely clear, with approximately 3 or 4 abrasions. The interior liner is untouched, with its original drawstring. All tongues strong, with its original chinstrap, the chinstrap having faint traces of its maker's name, also a date, which appears to be 1941. Excellent helmet.
