German WWII SS Officer’s Leather Belt

This is a rare and well-preserved example of a formal leather belt designed for officer use. Measuring 115cm in length, the belt is constructed from high-quality black leather that remains supple and retains a deep, consistent finish.

The belt features several characteristic technical details, including its original aluminium clip for fastening and a single leather runner. The internal adjusting tab is crafted from contrasting brown leather. This tab is clearly and deeply stamped with the SS runes within a double circle, the manufacturer code 1/35, and the RZM (Reichszeugmeisterei) organisational mark, also within a double circle.

The presence of such clear and legible markings, combined with the length and condition of the leather, makes this a significant accessory for the study of period uniforms and equipment. It serves as an important component for completing a high-level officer's display or for inclusion in a collection of specialist leather gear.
