German WWII SS Cavalry Shoulder Boards

A very rare pair of SS shoulder boards piped in golden yellow silk, indicating service in an SS cavalry unit. The lining material on the slip-on tabs has completely degraded on one tab and is approximately 25% degraded on the other. There is no moth damage, and the golden yellow piping retains good vibrant colour.

A scarce and sought-after display piece for collectors of SS cavalry insignia.
