A superb example from our own collection of the pure white Allach rearing horse, Model No. 95, designed by Adolf Röhring. Standing 28cm tall, this elegant figure was produced at the Allach porcelain works, located on the outskirts of Dachau. The factory was assembled under Heinrich Himmler, gathering many of the finest artisans in porcelain to produce high-quality military and animal figures.
This example remains in excellent condition, showing no damage to the ears or any other part of the sculpture. While other porcelain manufacturers of the period created rearing horse figures, the Allach examples stand apart in quality, style, and overall impression — and this piece is a particularly striking representation.
