A very fine example of the Spanish Cross in silver with swords, of concave construction. Marked ‘900’ silver to the reverse, complete with its original wide tapering pin, hook, and hinge assembly.
All four eagles feature cut-out centres, and the sword hilts retain sharp, crisp detailing. The cross displays excellent pebbled texture around the central emblem and within the arms of the Maltese-style cross. Traces of the original frosted highlights remain visible on the frame edges, the eagles, and the central emblem. Light age toning is present to the inner edges and across the arms of the cross, giving the piece an attractive, untouched appearance.
