GERMAN WWII SPANISH CROSS IN SILVER WITH SWORDS

A very nice concave produced Spanish Cross in silver with swords. ‘900’ silver marked to the centre of the reverse side, with its original wide tapering pin, hook and hinge. The eagles all have cut-out swastikas. The very fine details of the sword hilts are evident. Excellent pebbled detail to the area surrounding the central swastika and within the arms of the Maltese style cross. Some of the original frosted highlights to the edge of the frame and to the swastikas themselves, also to the central swastika, can still be seen. Slight age toning to the inner edges of the frame and the four arms of the Maltese Cross.
