GERMAN WWII SINGLE DECAL M40 LUFTWAFFE COMBAT HELMET

An exceptionally nice condition Q64-sized shell, having all its original grey painted finish remaining, the Luftwaffe single decal being totally clear, has a very minor surface abrasion to the right-hand wingtip. When the decal was originally applied, the swastika was slightly misapplied, with the right-hand arm of the swastika slightly off centre. The paint on all the liner Rivett retaining heads is intact. To the interior, the size 57 stamped liner with some minor staining to the leather and one puncture hole, drawstring complete and fitted with its RB numbered leather chinstrap.
