GERMAN WWII SIGNALS OFFICERS DOUBLE EREL MARKED VISOR CAP

A superb double Erel marked massive size, possibly size 62 for an officer serving in a signals regiment. High-quality construction of the field grey material. Standard dark green centre band. A matched set of bullion wire woven national eagle and cockade with standard cap cords with pebbled side buttons. To the interior gold lining there is slight water staining to the upper inner side. The Erel trademark is good and clear, with some slight losses to the silvering of the letters beneath the undamaged centre lozenge. Erel silver marked to the mid tan leather sweatband that does have some storage stains. One tiny moth hole on the very lower inner edge of the cap, where the leather sweatband is sewn to the main body. A superb cap.
