A well-preserved example of the stamped one-piece aluminum belt buckle issued to members of the SA Wehrmannschaft—a lesser-known paramilitary Home Guard unit formed in January 1939 to support the German Auxiliary Police in internal security roles.
This buckle features crisp detailing throughout, with the distinctive SA motif cleanly rendered to the obverse. The reverse is clearly marked RZM 4/22, denoting manufacture by Christian Theodor Dicke of Lüdenscheid, and retains its original dual-prong aluminum belt fitting system, firmly intact and fully functional.
Buckles from the SA Wehrmannschaft are relatively scarce due to the short-lived and specialized nature of the organization, making this an appealing addition for collectors focused on non-standard Nazi paramilitary formations.
