GERMAN WWII SA MANS DISPLAY PIECE WITH ERASED ROHM INSCRIPTION

A very nice blade, good, deep ‘Ulles Fur Deutschland’ logo. Much cross-grain finish remains. On the reverse side, there is obvious evidence of the erasure of the Rohm inscription, which has slightly erased the upper part of the ‘E P & S’ manufacturers logo. Remainder of fittings, good quality nickel. Group marked ‘NM’ on the reverse side of the cross guard. Undamaged grip. High quality nickel eagle and undamaged enamel to the SA inset. All fitted into is correct anodised scabbard, which does retain much of the original finish. Nickel fittings to the scabbard to match the hilt fittings. Only a very minor indentation to the ball on the lower scabbard mount. All four screws intact. Complete with its brown leather hanging strap with a fully functional spring.
