GERMAN WWII SA MANS DISPLAY PIECE

A very nice blade, which we believe was an ex Rohm engraved dagger. Much cross-grain grinding across the back of the blade has made the early Eickhorn squirrel trademark very faint. Undamaged grip. Excellent condition enamel to the SA inset. High-quality national eagle. The lower rear cross guard is group marked ‘FR’. Heavy nicotine staining on both the upper and lower mounts. The lower scabbard has two minor indentations. The anodised finish to the scabbard has been restored. Age lines showing through. Evidence of nicotine staining on the edges of the mounts.
