Nice clean blade, some original cross-grain finish polish remaining, the deep grey within the motto proud. Some minor scratches around the tip of the blade and light cloudiness overall. Undamaged wood grip, with three light black stains. Heavy nickel upper and lower cross guards, high-quality national eagle and undamaged SA insignia, SA group marked ‘NO’ (Nordmark) to the rear of the lower cross guard. Scabbard anodising is good, still with a lot of original lacquer remaining; both scabbard mounts are also in nickel, the lower scabbard mount having an indentation to the lower ball and one slight dent to the upper part of that same mount. Complete with its original RZM-marked leather belt and RZM-marked sprung-loaded belt clip, which is marked ‘RZM 5/71 0LC’.
