Excellent blade to this SA man’s dagger, with a much original cross-grain finish remaining with slight spotting to the blade just above the word ‘Deutschland’. Heavy nickel upper and lower grip mounts, good quality National Eagle and undamaged SA insignia, and undamaged wood grip. A fair amount of rust bleeds to the anodised scabbard, upper and lower scabbard mounts in matching nickel, one indentation to the ball on the lower scabbard mount, all scabbard screws intact. Original brown leather hanging strap and unmarked sprung-loaded belt clip, A very scarce maker.
