A fabulous condition example of this rare SA man’s dagger. The blade is superb with all cross-grain finish remaining, the deep grey within the motto proud, the only markings to the blade are from the inner scabbard brass blade retaining bands. The upper and lower cross guard mounts are in heavy nickel. Undamaged wood grip, high-quality national eagle with an undamaged SA insignia. Group marked ‘OST’ to the rear of the lower cross guard. Anodising to scabbard excellent with some light rust bleed, both lower scabbard mounts in nickel, with slight indentations to the ball on the lower scabbard mount. Complete with its leather hanging strap with nickel-plated sprung-loaded belt clip marked ‘RZM 5/70 0 LC’. A superb dagger.
