Good bright plating to the upper and lower cross guards with a slight lifting of the plating where the guards butt up to the very nice condition wood grip. Undamaged enamel to the SA inset. High-quality national eagle with depth to the eagle’s wings. Fitted into its correct brown painted scabbard, which retains all of its original finish. The upper and lower scabbard mounts have good bright plating with all their correct screws. Fitted to the dagger is the single leather hanging strap, which is marked ‘Assmann DRGM RZM’ on the reverse side of the clip.
