A very good early example produced by E.P. & S. Solingen. The face side shows the full Alles für Deutschland motto, with minor black spotting near the upper section, while much of the original cross-grain finish remains intact. The reverse side reveals clear evidence of the Ernst Röhm dedication having been professionally removed, with the grinding wheel encroaching slightly upon the E.P. & S. Solingen maker’s logo.
The piece retains its early, heavy nickel fittings along with a well-preserved wooden grip, showing only slight chipping to the enamel of the SA inset. The lower rear grip mount is group marked “NO” for Nordmark. It is housed in its anodised scabbard, which shows areas of minor corrosion. The early nickel mounts remain present, though the ball tip has been flattened, and all screws are intact.
