A highly distinctive late-production example, featuring the standard Alles für Deutschland etching on the face side, with traces of the original cross-grain finish still present. Some blackened age spots are visible towards the point, and additional spotting appears on the reverse, though the central ridge and edges remain sharp. The upper and lower grip mounts are of plated zinc construction, showing good plating with only minor lifting where they meet the wooden grip. The grip itself is completely undamaged, with a well-preserved SA enamel inset. The national eagle has taken a light knock to the left wing, pressing it slightly into the grip surface.
The scabbard retains much of its original paint, with plated mounts. The unusual feature of this piece is that the scabbard fittings are a tight push-fit with no mounting screws, marking it as a particularly rare variation. There is a small indentation to the ball of the lower mount and some natural age lines visible beneath the paint. For collectors, this represents a highly unusual and desirable SA example.
