German WWII RLB Service Helmet

A rare helmet from the civil organisation, the Reich Luftschutzbund (RLB). This slightly lighter weight M35-style helmet, normally worn by police and fire services, features a slightly shorter brim and retains virtually all of its apple green finish with minor rust bleed. The impressive 1st pattern 8-pointed star RLB decal to the front is undamaged. The original liner is complete with all tongues, original drawstring, leather strap, and all five leather tabs for the protective neck flap.
