GERMAN WWII RLB OFFICIALS VISOR CAP

An extremely nice condition RLB visor cap, non-size stamped but on test would appear to be size 58, constructed in the classic RLB grained uniform cloth with purple piping to the crown and the upper and lower sections of the black centre band.  Fitted with the M.29 eagle with the RLB 8 pointed star insignia to the centre band with swastika below the script ‘RLB’. Silver cap cords with silver side buttons. No moth to anywhere on the cap. The interior sweatband is of the ersatz type. The interior is lined with russet brown brushed cotton. The slightly cracked but complete centre celluloid lozenge has the impression to the lozenge of the RLB insignia with the indication that the hat is for Group 7-14, which is a ranking system within the RLB. The peak is secured to the main body, all of the fittings holding to the liner to the cap perfectly.  A nice visor cap from one of the military civil organisations of the NSDAP.
