An excellent example of the scarce RLB 1st Pattern officer’s display piece. The central element has been polished, with the Paul Weyersberg Solingen logo remaining clear, along with its original grained blue leather washer. The blue leather covering on both the grip and scabbard is in very good condition, showing only minor indentations and no deterioration.
The hilt retains its distinctive RLB eight-pointed star insignia. There is slight rubbing to the original nickel plating around the cross guard area, but overall presentation remains strong. The upper and lower scabbard mounts retain their plating beautifully. The short leather strap is no longer present.
