A superb blade by WKC, with all of its cross-grain finish remaining; edges superb. The plating to the crossguard and upper pommel, as well as the lower scabbard mount. These daggers are susceptible to cracking of the pommel and crossguard and loss of finish. This example is superb, complete with its RLB starburst badge. Slight loss of enamel to the letter ‘B’ in the insignia. All the black finish remains on the scabbard, with age lines showing through from the steel below the surface. The wood grip is absolutely perfect, with no cracks or minor indentations. Complete with its lower hanger and sprung-loaded Assmann and DRGM-marked clip. A very good example.
