GERMAN WWII RED CROSS MANS DISPLAY PIECE

Superb blade with minor evidence of sharpening. All the sawtooth points are in place. The Red Cross daggers were never manufacturer-marked visibly; on removing the chequered grips, a maker's mark can normally be revealed. Plating is reasonably good on the crossguard and upper pommel. Both grips uncracked. The scabbard retains the majority of its original black painted finish with some minor abrasions. There are no dents. The frog retaining pin is loose on its axle. A good, bright finish remains on the upper and lower scabbard mounts.
