GERMAN WWII RAILWAY OFFICIALS BUCKLE, ULTRA RARE VARIANT

Pictured on page 480 of Belt Buckles and Brocades of the Third Reich by John R. Angolia, this very rare mint-condition buckle with superb gilt. ‘Assmann’ is marked on the reverse side. All the silvering to the central octagonal logo good with frosted highlighted swastika. One keeper fitted. A very rare but known and documented variant example.
