A very fine example of a German WWII RAD man’s display piece, notable for its clean condition—a rarity given how many have seen heavy use. The main component features an excellent deep “Arbeit Adelt” etched inscription, with no damage or wear. It is complete with triple markings including the RAD acceptance stamp within a lozenge, the lettering ‘Ges Gesch,’ and the ‘Carl Julius Krebs Solingen’ logo.
The solid nickel hilt is in very good condition, with undamaged stag grips. Unusually, it is unit marked ‘FU356’ on the top of the hilt, with matching markings on the throat of the scabbard. The scabbard paint is intact with only minor scratches and three very light indentations. All plating on the scabbard fittings is complete, making this an excellent historic display piece.
